Hi. I’ve read thru and kept up with your website for a few years. I was on the other side thinking I was a gay Christian. Within this year, God has been unraveling my life and now I’ve come to terms that my whole life had been in shambles and I had believed a lie. As I deal with the shock of everything around me, I’ve carefully sought out help. I was spiritually abused in the evangelical/fundamentalist church in my 20s when I attempted to be set free from the gay identity. I had enough and I lived the gay existence in my 30s. I am now 55 and I exited out of it. I had enough. I attended my first Courage meeting in Dallas. I’m trying to find community but most importantly my essential relationship that the Lord would want. Yes, I am for real. I’m in process of exiting out of my former Facebook friends who are LGBT. Most of them don’t care whether I live or die. I certainly won’t hear from them again. I’m trying to back away so I can start with my new life. It’s a process and it’s hard. But nothing is too difficult for my God. God bless u.
Dear Brother – I will stand with you on this journey, it is one we must all make – but we do not have to travel along this road alone; please feel free to e-mail me at: jsciambra@yahoo.com
Joseph Sciambra and Robert.,
Guy’s the road is narrow, but your not alone . There is one thing I can agree with Pope Francis, That the Church is a field hospital. Many are healing from all sorts of sin inflicted wounds.
Yet, as the old Gospel song goes,” there is power in the Blood of Jesus”. He does heal. Sometimes quickly and sometimes slowly.Nevertheless He heals.
God bless you guys.
