My husband thinks a regular chain for his holy medals looks cheesy, but his silver dollar store chain like this tarnished and looks like junk. Just bought this for the St. Joseph medal I got him for Christmas from here, and it is heavy for its size. The brass is that darker, burnished look and very masculine. Bought the little box with the Holy Family on it to present it as a nice gift.
