I think you did a good thing. However they were judged, they were people who wanted to live life socially integrated with others, and not look back at all the neglect pain suffering or abandonment many of them may have suffered as children, (in most cases) They made money without oppressing or harming others, giving out a great deal of their own inner self for it, not like so many that rob and deceit pursuing with greed the trust of others in order to get rich. Though after understanding it was not what made me happy it took me like 30 years, and am still not settled and good with it. It feels more like abstinence, though I know why, and it is not because I’m doing something wrong. I have taken a different route though, I am not an atheist, but I see homosexuality as an integral part or expression of human sexuality present as a plausibility in anyone and everyone, as part of our complete physiology. Where I have concentrated is on; in what cases the mind seeks it, and how it develops, or what causes it to become more than just a capacity. All and all we have always as a civilization been too fanatical or hysterical about. I do think it is mainly “nurturing” yet, nurturing naturally based. Homosexuality has absolutely nothing to do with a civil right or an idealism. We have really been off track in this regard as a society for decades now, and have brought the world an unforgivable amount of misleading miss-education ill-affecting the lives of millions. I think its understanding must always involve biological conditions, environment, and psychological development combined, and yet I don’t believe it has ever been nature’s intention for anyone of us to live exclusively homosexually. It is our human creative ideological judgments and inventions who has created the “notion” of being “born to live homosexualy” . And yet many of us have been so deeply sunk in by the world in that, that we find it extremely difficult to come out of its pit being open and sincere about it, without giving credit to something or someone like “god” or “Joseph Nicolosi” or “the woman I love” to explain it and make it easy for others to accept it and believe you…. maybe.
I would enjoy “comparing notes” and building “activism groups”. I am a big believer in owning a higher, deeper and more complexly accurate understanding of our own true and complete human sexuality, particularly fascinated by the minds natural shyness in revealing universal aspects in all of us. I think it is crucial that we don’t mislead and misinform our children anymore also. That’s the big issue with me. … Because I always say I wish someone or somehow adults, males, society or family had nourished me where it was needed while I was growing up so that I would have not lived the life I did, I try and be true to the premise that it is all about the correct social and cultural education.
